Unable to open the free Furniture blocks when I extracted would not let me open AutoCAD file. Am I doing something wrong?
Idea for other Blocks:
A set of drawing / detail tile symbols, section markers, tags, room name, arrow a simple 45 degree angle triangle as a indication of where elevation or section pointing (in metric) sometimes Markers would be very handy for many as Attributes can be tricky to set up. Suggest circle and square both divided horizontally through the centre point with a line so that a detail number or letter can be placed in the top section and drawing number in the bottom section. With Drawing Titles good to have provision for scale and Ref: to take you back to the smaller scale drawing.
Also a explanation of how to use 3D symbols in 2D drawing would be handy.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
Regards Nigel
Hi Nigel, thank you for your comments – much appreciated. What version of Autocad do you have – maybe there is a compatibility issue. Let me know what happens when you try and open the file.
Thanks for the ideas for other blocks – always really useful to get feedback. All the best, Emma 🙂
