Hi Emma,
I have a situation where a client is refurbing a bungalow by adding a new storey over. The external wall ground floor is o/a 280mm brick cavity wall, resulting in the first floor external wall being same size. To meet the regs would you favour a full fill cavity and insulate internally or full fill cavity with external insulation and render?
1. Do you have details within you library i could download ?
2. Do you have sample specifications to cover the various aspects of a house extension?

I’m afraid we can’t advise on individual projects. However, yes, we have plenty of examples on the detail library of both external insulation and internal insulation. We have a building regulations example document but I’m afraid we don’t have sample specifications for you specific type of project.
