Colour Trees – Free PSD Download No. 2

I don’t know what it is, but I seem to have a thing about trees… Cad trees, colour trees, photoshop trees – I can’t get enough of them! So I was messing around with some cad block trees I was working on when I decided to take them into photoshop for a bit of colouring in fun. This is what I came up with.

Please feel free to download the trees, they are all individual layers in photoshop, both with black outlines and without. They are not super high resolution as I didn’t initially intend to put them on the site to download, but I’m sure will look good on some of your more sketchy style renders. Happy Photoshopping!

      Thanks Katrina, appreciate your comment. You are right – I should do a tutorial. In the meantime, let me give you a quick idea. Import a cad pdf of trees to photoshop. New layer, mess around with brushes and colours. Used pastel type brushes. Then adjust colour layers to multiply. I used magic wand selection tool to make sure all my colour stayed inside the tree outline. I think that’s pretty much it! All the best, Emma

      Thanks Cathy, I’m afraid I don’t do any Revit tutorials, I use ArchiCAD so my knowledge of Revit is a little basic!

    Thanks for the tutorials, knowledge and download availability. I’m from Myanmar and I’m not an architecture student yet, but I’m very curious to learn more about architecture.
